Welcome Flavours, sounds tasty stuff.
Lots of the events we trade at are run by different groups or individuals, so you have to apply to each event organiser. There are some who do a number of events up and down the country- eg Plantagenet Events, Eventplan, Mark Griffin, PASTE, David Smith, Apis events and others.
Some events have a specific timeperiod, most are more flexible with the traders than with the reenactors, so "yesteryear" would cover it.
It helps if you can trade from a canvas tent for some events, though lots will be happy for you to use a market stall or gazebo type, you will be placed with the other caterers so not amongst the reenacting bit, or medieval market.
I should not try to encourage anyone who intends to bring Eccles cakes to events though, I am gaining quite enough weight at the moment, without such temptations flaunted at my place of work...

Apologies for hi-jacking the thread but the subject of delicious delicacies prompts me to ask....

Has anyone else noticed that cap-a-pie's (mmmm....pies...) avatar looks akin to a jammy dodger that some scoundrel has stolen the jammy bit from? :o

Oh - must add - no offence intended CAP!
