Suppliers of hardwoods?

Post by KeithFarrell »

Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good supplier of hardwoods such as ash, poplar, yew and ebony? Ideally I would be able to get dowels, staffs and planks of the different types of woods. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

British hardwoods is my local. They are a good bunch to deal with, but they will only have ash from your list. They have some yew, but only 1 tree in short sections.

Try these:- http://www.craft-supplies.co.uk/I haven't used them for a while but used to get all sorts. If you contact their other depot they can supply all sorts of sizes not just small blocks.
