Finally Finished the website!

Postby Kate Tiler » Tue Jan 13, 2009 1:54 am

Hurrah! I've finally finished & uploaded our website!

http://www.companyofartisans.co.uk

Only a month or so after Cal created our banner for us, so for those who are curious, take a look - be gentle with me it's only the second one I've ever made & I'm happy with it!

I do really welcome any comments, it has taken me a long time to go back & search through all my photos for it, so it is a very image rich site. It's the first time I've really tried to say what I do as a community artist too, so I hope that will interest some of you.

I have been terribly distracted by kittens in the last few weeks too, so I shall blame any typing mistakes on them...

Hi Kate well done you. I always thought you were versatile. Now I know you are.
What does the yellow banner look like on your computer? On mine the writing of 'Company of Artisans' has slipped down and is on top of "contact email". It wants nudging up and sticking down (very untechnical terms).
If your header was a template you just need to alter that otherwise you'll need to adjust it on every page. Hark at me giving you advice. It was you who inspired me to start this website lark.
Put a gold star on your chart.
Annie

Looks okay on mine [IE, pc] and tony's [Firefox on a mac], although Tony did say that it was too wide on his 15" monitor, whereas mine is 17" monitor.

Did happen to notice that your banner ad still links to your LH site - maybe you'd want to point it at the new site?

Thanks for the comments!

I have two banner ads now, one for Kate Tiler & a new one for Company of Artisans - I still get a lot of work & enquiries through the Kate Tiler site - and until the new site overtakes that I can't afford to stop running it! Besides which it doesn't help to be over-exposed!
