Postby duster » Fri Feb 04, 2011 10:36 pm

Hi all, im looking for images of 14c glazed and unglazed pottery, bowls, jugs , drinking vessels etc. especially a pottery cooking skillet, Any information ie stone ware, earthen ware, sizes or dimensions would be really helpful too. im not having much luck googleing images. many thanks.
p.s was going to title this thread "Help with big jugs" but decided it would attract the wrong type..

Jim is excellent, as is John Hudson.

Recommend both of them, best go to a maker that specialises in replicas they do.

If I had all the money in the world, I would buy a lot more ceramics from both those chaps ;-)

I have a replica of a late 12th century Stamford ware jug by Jim - even the clay used in the body is the same colour as the originals and the glaze is identical to museum pieces - highly recommended.

I'm still alive - just spending time with my wife and daughter :-)
