Me too. I got a couple in alder (I think?). You were worried that the rims might split as the wood may not have been in the condition you would have wished and offered to replace them if there was a problem. Happy to report that a couple of seasons down the line they are fine and have acquired interesting individual shapes having started as pretty much identical.
