help! butter churn going mouldy

Post by katiepoppycat »

anyone got any good advice? It was scalded and put away after an event, a week later had some impressive green and white fur. Scrubbed it all off, scalded it, brought it home and soaked it in milton - 1 week later, green again. Anyone got any good ideas? cheers

After soaking in Milton try soaking in a very strong solution of bicarbonate of soda (buy from chemists) as this is an anti-fungal agent.
