can any body make it or tell me of a place that sells it am doing a ww2 village fete

just start a gingerbeer plant off, you'll have it coming out of your ears. Lemonade is also a doddle to make.

I have no idea what regulations you may need to comply with though, maybe one of our foody types can advise re selling of yummy things :)

Hawkins Bazaar sell kits to make your own, but places like ASDA and Morrisons sell traditional Lemonade and Ginger Beer quite cheaply, just decant it into enamel jugs. Also gets round the H&S issue.

(put a tin out and ask for donations rather than setting a price)

OK, guilty as charged but the Plum and Ginger wine it got turned into has just been racked and is very nice!
