Glucose syrup

Postby Ammo » Fri Dec 14, 2007 12:24 pm

Ok I don't want this to make anything for reenactment but I do want it to make some sweets and other niceness for this festive season.

Where can I get hold of it. You used to be able to get it from chemists but its not the sort of thing they stock regularly these days.

Not sure where you are in N. Wales, but try a shop that specialises in cake making stuff -- used in some fondant icings etc. There is one in Mold, but better phone first.

Googled & found this on a UK online pharmacy

All the best, Andy

Thanks ver ymuch. I'm not far at all from Mold. I work in a pharmacy so I've tried asking them very nicely if they can order some in for me. If no luck I shall try the shop in Mold. Thanks again.
