TARM?

Post by SteveC »

TARM - The Alternative Re-enactors Market would seem to be taking place in Ryton on Dunsmore village hall over the same weekend as TORM.

I was expecting something to have been posted here about it, but there's been a little on Facebook and nothing else.

Any info, anyone?

This is the first I've heard of it but a quick DDG turned up this:

We went. Seems silly to drive 175 miles each way without trying everything.
TORM was busy. We got some silk fabric which was conspicuous by its absence back in the autumn.
We got other bits from regular traders there.
We spent a lot of money (see 'silk'!)

After lunch we popped down to the village hall for TARM.
It was busy, All the available space was filled with stalls.
We bought from the two we'd particularly wanted to see.
We checked out all the others. Seemed to be of a high standard.
We didn't buy anything else, but most of the other stalls were not specialising in our period.
All the traders seemed very happy with things.

So, win-win from my point of view.
