Kiddy knight school insurance conundrum :-)

Postby mooguk » Mon Apr 17, 2017 8:16 pm

Greetings all,

one of our group's 'things' is a kiddies knight school thing - ie foam swords etc, basic hitting shields and then hitting the guys in armour sort of thing.

Was wondering if anyone has had any insurance issues with a 'kiddie knight school'? I.e. having told your insurers have they said fine/ it's only fine if you pay us lots more money/ not a chance?

at the mo we have £10m 3rd part PLI with Shooter's Rights if that helps

Regards, Mark

any decent insurer will simply ask for a detailed breakdown of what you do, looks at your RAMS and should have no problmes. As long as you can prove your are dloing it sensibly, fine.

http://www.griffinhistorical.com. A delicious decadent historical trifle. Thick performance jelly topped with lashings of imaginative creamy custard. You may also get a soggy event management sponge finger but it won't cost you hundreds and thousands.
