Calling all budding comedy writers! CBBC is running a writing competition for 6-14 year-olds across the UK to write a short sketch for Horrible Histories. The winning script will be turned into an actual sketch for the Horrible Histories TV show!
Now clearly we all fall outside that category, but given the amount of knowledge we have about history I don't see why we can't have a go amongst ourselves and have the rest of the forum judge the entries. Because of this, I see no reason why we should restrict ourselves to just the Tudors or the Romans (as the entrants have do) so that means we can tackle the Stone Age, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Romans, the Celts, the Saxons, the Vikings, the Normans, the Middle Ages, the Aztecs, the Incas, the Tudors, the Stuarts, the Georgians, the Victorian and both World Wars. Each sketch (according to the competition rules) should be no longer than five minutes in length and here a few examples to inspire some ideas
