Stitching question

I do the odd bit of leather work when the mood takes me........embossing,carving,tooling......and stitching things together.I've done quite a few pouches that folk have asked me for......usually copied from a picture that I get given.........however,my question is this.Does anyone have a link to primary evidence for pouches with visible stitching.... evidence I've found of pouches that are original seem to have been stitched and then turned. It's just an 'authenticity' query I have.I know there's hundreds of folk from the re-enactment world have visible stitching on their pouches (myself included)as I've been doing a bit of observation at various gigs recently..............I'm just intrigued as to where the proof is as I'm about to do another for myself and thought I'd actually have a look at available evidence......

One of my pouches is pictured below.

This is pretty much the definitive work so far on pouches so any evidence is likely to be in there-
