Painting Help

Postby SpudUk » Wed May 15, 2013 4:28 pm

I am trying to track down two paintings and a bust but appear to have hit a dead end and wondered if anyone could help. The paintings I am looking for are:

Subject: Thomas, Lord Wentworth
Artist: Unknown
Last Known Location: Mr H R Clifton of Clifton Hall, Nottingham
Additional Info: Reproduced in FW Hamilton's Grenadier Guards

Subject: Sir Thomas Wentworth, Earl of Cleveland
Artist: Van Dyck
Last Known Location: In the position of the Earl of Verulam sometime in the turn of the century

Bust
Subject: Sir Thomas Wentworth, Earl of Cleveland
Artist: Unknown
Last Known Location: Possession of Lord North at Wroxton

It has been suggested that this (http://www.artvalue.com/auctionresult-- ... 408956.htm) is the Van Dyck of Sir Thomas Wentworth, Earl of Cleveland but I can't confirm it.

If anyone can help that'd be lovely!
