Painting/Dying Tent

Post by Mordengaard »

We've just got ourselves a blue/white burgundian tent and a blue/black pavillion tent, and I'd like to change the burgundian to blue/black...

Any suggestions on how to go about painting or dying all the white bits, or whether it's even possible (or sensible) to do?

I painted my white canvas tent 9 years ago with watered down emulsion, at least 10:1 water to paint, this has proved to be very successful, and means I can recognise my tent at a large Multi period event with ease :D
fast removing B&Q boxes from re-enactment, and hoping to do the same for sash cord guy ropes
