For the Fifth year we return with a weekend of heritage, history and archaeology.
We fill the museum grounds with a showground of hands on stands and in the museum hall we run a programme of talks on fascinating topics from some of the best speakers ion the country.
Every year we like to keep the regular favourites, but also mix up things with new faces and new talents.
We have come to your forum to see if any of you would like to join us for the weekend 13-14 July 2019.
The festival attracts around 1500 people over the weekend and has an excellent reputation for being friendly and welcoming. We cater for both the expert out for the weekend and the young family looking for an educational fun day out.
If you are interested in knowing more about the festival, please do get in touch with the showground curator, Katy England
We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully welcoming you to the museum.
