The Tank Museum - Bovington, are hosting a VE Day celebratory event on Friday 8th May 2020, and are recruiting Living History groups to participate!
It will be a 1 day event on the Bank Holiday Friday. Even though we cannot provide a separate camping area, camping will be available in the designated Living History Display area for Authentic tents, or Modern tents when public are off site. During the day, there will be free access to the museum for your group members who are confirmed for attendance.
We are looking for Any WWII Allied reenactors, be that in uniform or civilian clothing, who don't mind interacting with the public and mingling if roaming.
Alternatively, we can also provide hardstanding pitches for any marquees and displays.
If you would like to exhibit with us, please do get in touch with a quote, what you can provide, and an estimate of numbers attending to firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively, email@example.com
We are hoping for our VE Day event to be a roaring success, and we hope that you would like to join us for it!
Job adverts for re-enactors, schools, film, tv and events organisers please post here.

Any reenactors with S1. firearms might find this difficult, as it seems the Tank Museum staff don't approve of reenactors keeping such things on their person when entering the museum. Unfortunately, a strict reading of the law would seem to prohibit leaving S1. firearms with other members of the group.
