And something to warm Norbury's heart:

See? Women don't need to fight to have fun at re-enactments!

I've got more that I'll post up later, but photobucket isn't that good for ease of putting up pictures.

Zac, that woman in the kirtle second pic down, that's what I want to do! :D

Great piccies! The second to last picture is nice, looks as if it was taken just as the sun was going in and creeping across the field :D

Out of interest, who gets to play the King/Prince of Wales? Is there some kind of game of chance, or do they play that character at every gig their particular group attends?
Thanks.

Well for as long as I've been interested Simon & Rob from Sun in Splendour are Edward & Richard, then this weekend I discovered that some chap called Duncan (from the Plantagenets) was the Prince of Wales.

Of course having fought in Gloucesters block for 5-6 years now I know the former, but "How?" I hear you ask "Mr Dickie, do you know of The Prince?" Well its simple you see our Wilhelm STOLE MY PRINCE OF WALES!!!

Hello Dickie! Duncan here, firstly I must appologise for going and getting myself stolen I'll try not to do it again. Secondly could you forward my thanks to the chap who stole me for a very good and gentlemanly fight, I think he was one of the few people that didn't sneek round and smack me in the back!

As for playing the prince its my right by birth as I am the biggest poser on the planet
