Curses, you posted us practicing on the saturday with modern kit on....
For those about to bring it up, this shot was on the Saturday prior to authentic kit or public entrance, also our posing was a bit crappy.

Though my helmet looks good.

Has the one in the centre of the top picture actually had both his legs hacked off, or is he just naturally short? :twisted:

I think it's his picture pose. I don't think i've ever actualy seen him standing.. :P

Leave poor lad alone, the overall effect was poor but we were given 30 seconds to get in a posed position and with little to no experience on our part and very little direction we did best we could.

And as you can see by me sanding at my tent with my big coat on, hat and hood it was COLD (by the way my coat is hiding moden jeans and boots on as I was "cought" out to and had only put the wool layers on to stay warm

Nice pollaxe, I've a bit of a thing for pollaxes at the moment, now I've got me halberd and me partizan, I've a hankering on some more viciuos looking polarms.

Next time yer down in Cornwall - check out Cotehele Hall - there's a gorgeous poleaxe there from the C16 with three backspikes. Even Sara said it was a sexy piece of kit :lol:

Yan from the Conyers had a lovely new pollaxe at Towton - now wish I could remember where he got it from - think it was the chap who was selling bills and halberds at Berkeley last year

Oh..I might check that out. I'm down there for roughly 2 weeks on holiday after my exams are over :)
