Sillicus does some excellent and well researched authenti-painting at shows these days, and did all the banners for Britannia's Guildhall show this Summer, which were extremely striking and provoked a great deal of interest. You wouldn't guess he used to illustrate for certain...ahem... *specialist* publications :wink: He's also one of the best and most self-effacing artists I've had the pleasure of knowing :)
