Ahhh... clankies, horses and a Tudor victory. What more do you need?!

Another shot of me and the Woodvilles just standing there and looking gormless. And why does everyone else like so shiny?

Just a few from Sunday's foot tournament...

(No battle pics because I was there in the thick of it!)

Of course he has a knife. He always has a knife. We all have knives - it's 1183 and we're barbarians.

Quayn

Postby Quayn » Tue Aug 19, 2008 1:55 pm

are these from the sunday? just no sign of myself in the first few except for a possible glimpse of my glaive, though wasn't on field on sunday so probably explains why i'd be absent.

Excellent shots though despite the lack of me in them lol.

Quayn they are from Sunday, as that was when Lord Roos was playing King Dick. Somehow he contrived to avoid taking any of me either. Probably wished to avoid damaging his camera !

Looked at again there are some very evocative pictures here, especially the ones taken against the backdrop of the camps where very little modern clutter is on view. Thanks.

Who is the big bloke in the first set of pics, long wavy fair hair and a crown? As he has his own horse did this make him King for the day, prefere the RIII in later pic - main photos are fab, well done

It's really good to see a 15thC event where pretty much everyone is in 15thC kit!

They are great pictures, love them.

The Big Bloke is Lord Roos; who was not King for the day because he has his own horse  - do not understand what made you think that.

Poor Richard got hit by a 'stray arrow' on Saturday and took a right Royal Tumble, still a bit sore and shaken on Sunday.
Lord Roos reluctantly agreed to be the stand in for Sunday; wasn't too keen because of his size and age.

Anyway Echo, why not come along along to the Fed Cavalry Training sessions; who knows, YOU could be King Dick next time.
:)
Great photo's.

Kind Regards,

Miranda

I can't view any of Seanha's pictures. They all just come up with little red crosses! :x

Am I the only one with this little technical glitch or has something gone wrong in the last week?
