PKoSD's Battle of Tewkesbury 2008 pics (updated)

Post by Fox »

The first installment of our pictures of this years battle have been uploaded, and can be seen >here<.

They're taken with a long[ish] lens from the grand stand, and the largest size of picture is quite big, so regardless of where you were on the field you might find yourself in there somewhere.

Credit, as ever, to our photographer, Chutny.

Why not take an amble round the site and look at the other galleries from this year and last year.

There are more pictures to come, I think; I'll post again when they're available.

Cheers Fox. I managed the "Where's Wally?" on loads of friends and myself several times.
Were all these taken on the Saturday?

Some of these great pics must have been taken on the Sunday because we took our bigger Black Maunch banner on Sunday only.

well done Chutny!

Some good pics there, although I'm not in any of them, so you'll have to try harder next year :P

Well I can see myself in the Woodville livery (Ultramarine green stand out) standing doing nothing, kneeling doing nothing marching backwards and forwards, lurking around at the back of a fight and generally doing sweet FA-so where did these brusies come from?

Iam there looking rather large
There’s a country in Europe where they treat their ex soldiers with pride no waits for medical treatment after injuries received during service, no amensia from the government. Cant for the life of me recall where it is but I know exactly where it is not.

I am in about three, one looking bemused and in the back rank and one other in the front at what I remember to be the very first Lancie charge at our lines. And maybe a bit of my head eleswhere, up my bum prolly (got that one in before anyone else did ;-))

It may help to understand human affairs to be clear that most of the great triumphs and tragedies of history are caused, not by people being fundamentally good or fundamentally bad, but by people being fundamentally people
