An excellent turnout by Re-enactors, Traders & public for this, Bodelwyddan Medieval Festival's first event.

It can only get better. Huge site with unlimited potential :D Venue already booked for the same weekend next year!

Hot & sunny both days, despite heavy rain overnight Saturday.

Has anybody got some photos of the battles ?

Nearly forgot these.

Bodfari Charcoal will definitely be back next year. Quality charcoal. If anybody has any special requirements for special baskets etc, give them a call. They do courses too ..... even Coracle making!

Ha ha Andy, you still can't see my face.
I can see the Griffin paying you a visit.

That will make 2 in our group then! Young lad = surname = Griffin
I will ask our authority person about charms against mythical Griffins. From what I hear they are a little weak in the bladder. Gortunately I sell p*ss Pots!

I forgot to tell you that looking from behind the shield wall you look a 'mean, lean (?) fighting machine / archer' Glad you were targeting the other end of the line
