NFOE at Gilbert White's House - Selbourne

NFOE got a good write up in my local paper after the event at Gilbert White's House in darkest Hampshire on 30th June / 1st July. Several good photos - mostly of the French.

Nice picture of Geoff looking suitably medicinal, although the caption read "Geoff King as the Doctor" - left me wondering where he'd left the Tardis...

I'll try to scan in the cutting when I can work out where I left the scanner.

Pity I couldn't make it even though it was practically on my doorstep (daughter had a ballet show).

Hi,

and the name of your local paper is........?
I have parents and friends who live locally and might want to see the write-up,

Thanks,

Judith

It was a great event and the venue was fantastic.

Of course the weather sucked, and as a result I'm nopt sure the house broke even - which was a great shame considering the ammount of effort they put in to it.

Despite there only being two redcoat's there (okay, maybe 1.5 as the chap from the 42nd was only there on the Sunday) we were still out-numbered by at least 2:1

I hope we get the opportunity to do it again - with sun though next time :D

As promised, a couple of pics scanned in from the local paper. It's a shame not many public showed up, it was well advertised locally, but as Andy says it was a very soggy weekend.

I hope NFOE do get invited back next year - it is a great site.
