New book - Swordsmen of the British Empire

Postby Matt Easton » Mon Apr 29, 2013 10:58 am

Hi all,

If you have any interest at all in military hand-to-hand combat between c.1600 and c.1900, as described and discussed in original British sources, then you'll be interested in the new book Swordsmen of the British Empire, by D.A.Kinsley. It covers all manner of close combat with all types of hand weapon, from bayonet to kukri to lance, in all the major wars of the British Empire.

I wrote an introduction for it because I strongly believe in the project and I would ask you to support it, if you also feel that compiling and publishing primary source material of this sort of stuff is worthwhile. The electronic PDF verson is a mere £4.
