Cobhams Dragoons have a new website which as well as all the usual stuff includes some links to video clips of the dragoons.

Hi Mark,

I have to say that I think Cobhams are one of the best turned out cavalry groups going that I know of.

This picture above all impressed me as going that extra mile to look like a period dragoon with the dragoons musket rather than just a dragoon re-enactor - if you know what I mean?

I only wish there were more of them - and more infantry.

More French, Prussians, Austrians, hell, more of everything damnit.

Young men have often been ruined through owning horses, or through backing them, but never through riding them: unless of course they break their necks, which, taken at a gallop, is a very good death to die
