ww2 ladies uniforms sizing

Postby katiepoppycat » Tue Sep 13, 2005 12:42 pm

Can anyone help me out with what is probably a very simple question? I don't understand the sizing of ww2 ladies uniforms at all. I know what a size 5 translates to, but i'm looking at something thats a size 1. IS that smaller or larger or what? can anyone offer a quick guide to conversion?

Many thanks.

Hell there,

Do you mean female British gear? If so Size 1 denotes the smaller size. However it is always better to read the details below the Size 'grade' (such as the waist and chest measurements) as they can vary in size considerably from maker and items of kit.

Hope this helps,

Sophie
