Knit For Tommy

Postby FionaDowson » Wed Jul 27, 2016 9:17 am

I've been making rifle gloves from Knitting For Tommy. Interesting reading but it's easier to work out the patterns from the photos than from the instructions. Published by The HIstory Press. They also publish a book about Female Tommies, women on the front line. Does anyone know if this is worth buying?

There are better books out there, what's your particular area of interest and I'll post some links.

Women on the Warpath is rather good if you can get a 2nd hand copy?
