covering am brown equipment with hessan

Postby STEENIE » Sun Mar 13, 2016 11:35 am

Scrimming Sam browne and 'OR' leather equiment.

I have a new Webley Mk VI OR holster turning up. I was thinking I should cover it in hessian as I have in my mind this was done to cut down the chance of being spotted as an Officer or Senior NCO and being sniped out. I am sure in my mind that they did this but I am looking for provenence. Anyone have any?

No, but if you do, people who do medieval reenacting may walk into it, as it will be impossible for them to see it.
