UNIDENTIFIED WW1 HELMET. ANY EXPERTS?

Postby secret-orchard » Wed May 13, 2015 10:06 am

Hi,

I purchased this helmet at an auction and it was catalogued as a 'WWI French Troops Helmet'. Having now researched it more in depth - I can see no French troops helmet that looks anything like this one? I'm thinking it may in fact be a Brodie helmet. Could anyone kindly shed some light as to whether this helmet could actually be French?

Thanks.

It's a Zuckerman helmet - British made, WW2. Nothing to do with the French or WW1:
