WW2 Home Guard/ARP warden

Postby Mike Garrett » Tue Jun 03, 2014 8:09 am

During WW2 would someone have been a member of the Home Guard and also have been an ARP warden?

Thanks

They could have served in both, but highly unlikely if rotas clashed for meetings/fire watching etc.

In some small towns like mine people belonged to several defence organisations.

Yeah I'd say it's unlikely they served in both but possible
