Highland light infantry

Is there any groups that reenact ww1 era HLI as i am thinking of branching into another period and it was my great grandads reg
any other tips about starting would be helpful

As far as I'm aware there is no HLI specific WW1 group in the UK. However, the Gordon Highlanders 1914-18 does sometimes allow people to participate in other Scottish WW1 kit at some of their events (I have done a number of events with them in my Seaforth kit for example):

Yep, we are a growing group. Within the group, while being first and foremost the gordons, we have some guys who do ASC, RAMC, Camaronians etc.
All events are done as Gordon Highlanders but have done small shows showing a wide range of regiments. We have our first training event of the year in mid April.
