London Home Guard

Postby fazerman » Sun Jul 08, 2012 6:58 pm

I am really new this guys so be gentle with me. I am hoping to create a uniform so I can emulate my late grandfather as a Capt in the Home Guard. The only problem is I don't know what regt his unit may have be affiliated to. He was in the No9 Battalion 34th County of London (London River South). His unit number was LON 34. I know that some Greenwich units were affiliated to the Kings Own West Kents regt.
My questions are can anyone tell me if his Home Guard unit was affiliated to KOWK regt?
Does anyone know where I might be able to get LON 34 insignia?

Thanks a lot
