brit uniform sizes

Post by Mark Griffin »

Being a complete ignoramus in this period I'm having trouble finding out the rationale behind British Army sizes on uniforms so i can get some 1930's-50's kit together.

I'm not worried about which pattern was used when etc but more the number to size ratios they seem to use.

Is there a chart somewhere that shows me how this works?

Ta!

I thought standard issue came in two sizes - too big and too small.
