Hi everyone,

Is there a dedicated area for new members to introduce themselves? I had a quick shoofty but couldn't see one so forgive me if I missed it. Anyway, my name is Annie and I'm looking to get back into the 40's scene, probably 'home front' for a while as I sold all my WAAF uniform some years back. I live in South Devon and wondered if there are any groups around. I guess I'm about midway between Plymouth and Exeter. Also I just wondered if there were any other forums that I could join? I used to belong to WWIIReenactment site but that seems to have become defunct. Thanks a lot, Annie x

Welcome. There's no dedicated area for members to introduce themselves on this forum. Wwiireenacting is still alive, but rather quiet. It's all Facebook now. Outside of re-enactment, the youngest of the young and the hippest of the hip are quitting Facebook and going elsewhere (wherever that may be), and have been doing so for some time, but re-enactors still use Facebook a lot.
