Postby madjon » Fri Apr 20, 2007 11:53 pm

is there anybody who does french in the 1860s-1880s period?
and would like to come and play at a palmerston fort?
crownhill fort was built and finished by 1874 to deal with the ''threat from the french at the time, and we would like to have some french reenactors come along to take part in shows, we have our own period guncrew and infantry but no french chappies , so does anybody do this period?

There are some people in ACWS working to recreate the 14th Brooklyn. Their uniforms were identical to those of French chasseurs from c.1840-1890
