Diced hose used by Scots Regts.

Postby Tod » Mon Feb 27, 2006 12:57 am

I asked this before on another part of the forum, so thought I'd try here as well.
I'm looking for a supplier of diced hose as worn by the Scots Napolionic Regts. I want the full sock rather than just the upper (like modern pipe bands).
Can any one put me in touch with a supplier that doesn't want me to remortgage the house?

Hi Tod,

I know a few recreated highland regiments from pre and post 1800.

I'll get in contact and see what can be found out for you.

Hope you are well,
Andy

Young men have often been ruined through owning horses, or through backing them, but never through riding them: unless of course they break their necks, which, taken at a gallop, is a very good death to die
