These boxes are made to the same design as archaeological find from the Napoleonic period (cheers Wurzul!)
They are of pine and measure just over 7 inches in length by 4 inches wide.
While there is no evidence for lids, I will be supply each with a fitted plywood lid to keep your soap clean and dry when packed. Pine lids can be supplied for £2 extra

Thanks to the marvellous Sally Pointer, I can now supply soap blocks with the boxes and as refills.
The castile soap is made to an authentic recipe made from olive oil, good for medieval through modern periods (in case you wanted to have just the soap).
The soap has a mild, pleasant scent, makes a thick lather, very good for shaving and is comicly slippery when wet.
These soap blocks are available only through Medieval Art and Woodcraft.

Prices:
Just the Box and lid - £8
Castile Soap - £2 per block

Pine lids can be supplied for £2 extra
