Worcester Yeomanry Cavalry

Postby Paul@WYC » Sun Jan 17, 2010 10:43 am

Hi folks,
I apologise that our web site http://www.worcesteryeomanrycavalry.org.uk has been offline for a month or two.
We are back online now and we will be updating the web site.
We are looking forward to ‘Living History In Worcester’ on Saturday 20th Feb 2010

Please note that my avatar depicts our group leader, another Paul, as Colonel of the Regiment circa 1803.

Glad tyo see it's up and running again Paul.

I was trying to show your site to one of the Kirkudbright Yeomanry at the tail end of December only to find it weren't there.

Cheers,
Andy

Young men have often been ruined through owning horses, or through backing them, but never through riding them: unless of course they break their necks, which, taken at a gallop, is a very good death to die

Phtos of Living History in Worcester 2010 now up

Postby Paul@WYC » Tue Apr 06, 2010 10:59 am

Hi folks,
following a brilliant Living History in Worcester where we got rid of 100 leaflets I have now put up the pictures in 'Event Galleries'.
There is a great one of yours truly taken by the Worcester news but more important a group photo with the 28th Gloucester.
28th are now listed as friends as are 3rd Rifles and Anglesey Hussars.
If you are not on our friends list and have photos of you in action at Eastnor Castle please get in touch.
See 'Events' for the days we are at Eastnor this season.
We are looking forward to Spetchley Park 14/15 August.
Cheers

Another big revision of the website.
Last weekend we had five in uniform!
If any of our friends have pics of themselves, or us, at Spetchley park please get in touch.
