Having aquired my bodies for my event in Oct for the 1815 period as well as the others we are doing, 1739, 1787, 1916 and 1944 I am now rushing against a stupidly late, self imposed deadline for getting a uniform together for a private in the 42nd foot for Alma/Lucknow era.

I have Seams Historic doing the fabric stuff, already have the Enfield but everything else I'm starting from scratch and am very much in the dark. Regt. museum being very helpful, NAM trip tomorrow but if anyone has any suggestions for suppliers of the kit, I'd love to know! This isn't my period so am coming to this very ignorant.

any help & suggestions appreciated.

FWIW, Thin red line used to be very useful suppliers.

They've ceased trading, but their stock must have gone somewhere.
