A great website and I was able to answer a lot of questions I had by looking at the images.

I notice that the 32nd are wearing white trousers, but in the book by Liliane and Fred Funcken, they are wearing grey trousers.
Are both correct? Was there a time when they changed over, perhaps a certain campaign or date?

The reason that I inquire is because I am putting together a uniform from the 1813~1815 period.

Regards, William.

Tiny,
I agree fully with Wm of Cornwall about your website, congratulations. Saw you at Rockingham in 2008 and again at Dorchester when you solidly 'saw off' the Frenchies trying to take Kingston Maurward House. I infact had a wander in your lines in my capacity as
representative of His Majesty King Frederick William the third of Prussia and I was very impressed with your Regiments turnout, order and your colours are fantastic. I was in the role of a Prussian Staff Officer. Keep up the good work

Hi Folks,
I think your web site is really good. If you have any other photos of Eastnor either 08 or 09 I might like to put them on our website as Eastnor is our home territory and I would like to jazz my links up with some 'friends'.

Hi,

I received some fantastic help and advice about the 32nd Regiment from this forum and the 32nd regiment website after discovering the possibility that my ancestor had served with the Regiment during the Napoleonic wars. I have managed to obtain his military records which confirmed he served with the 32nd Regiment 2nd Battalion from 1807-1813 and was transferred to the 1st Btn arriving for duty in the Pennisula ? 24th November 1813 until sent home for discharge to Dublin 24th July 1814 . On his discharge papers it gives his company Brev- Major W.H. Tooles Company and on the muster rolls states the 7th company.

I'm very interested in his movements and what he was doing with the Regiment/7th Company from the 24th Nov 1813- until 24th July 1814.

Can anyone suggest any good reading material on the Regiment during this period.

Many thanks.
Adrian
