Tales From The Green Valley

Postby Auntiedom » Tue Oct 18, 2005 7:45 pm

Has anyone been watching this? I've not caught all of it, but have enjoyed very much what I have watched. Nice to see some people with real knowledge getting 'hands on' on the TV for a change!

Unfortunately - or possibly fortunately - the two main ECW re-enactment societies both have lively chat forums of their own. The ECWS one is public as I recall and the SK - which I'm now a member of - has both public and members only posting sections. This is probably why this particular section here is effectively dead. Pity!

Bods form this show were at both fairs this weekend, full of additional information. :D

Truely a wonderful series, with much to be learned for all sorts of pre industirial, farms / small holdings.

The one big downer seems to be the fact that there are no plans for DVD or Vidio release  ... so if you missed it, you really have lost out.

Er - no! He's always been like that. :D Loved it.

The sheep wrestling was quality TV, too, I thought.
