Not sure which bit to post on but most people on this bit - Hi Tod!

You can now all contact me - please someone buy all of Andys kit so as our house has room to move in it again.

Now back in Warwear action for a while anyway and got loads of fabric to use up...

You were too late, Tod! It's ordered :-)
I just hope your message hasn't stopped it :?

Julie, I'm giving the fabric supplier a call today as it seems to be easier getting attention by ringing than by e-mail.

Cheers,
Henrik

Hey Tod
Working your way to the front of the queue while I'm away at events!!!

Hi Julie
Good news indeed. I'm just back from the SK event at Urquhart Castle that you guys were at last time and may well be looking for some additions to my kit. Will get in touch once I've worked out the details.
Cheers
Neil

PS I'd be happy to take Andy's F&I stuff off your hands as well!!

Why its not like you use it  I was trying to think if there was any thing of yours I want. But decided it would all be too loose on me, Neil would have the same problem. I've still got the Dutch coat with bottle pockets. You've not used your plaid for a while (the red one). I suppose I could rinse that off and use it. I'll talk to Jules. I'll take a couple of your muskets of your hands as well.
I have very nice project for you Jules, I'll give you a call - we can discuss the prices for Andy's kit.

Urquhart was excellent. pub was great, company great....top notch really!
Weather was bizzarely cold and wet at night(4oC on Sat) but sunny and warm during the day. As usual we were garrisoning the castle against the Covenanters. I think I fired 40 odd shots on Saturday and the same or possibly even more on the Sunday.
Missed a good one.

Tod, you're right, what was I thinking, all Andy's stuff will be far to loose for me and not worth the effort to get taken in..... unless we split all the excess material between us and make something for each of us out of it!!!

I will be in touch very soon Jules I don't like the sound of Tod's little project or the time it would probably take to complete!!!
Cheers
Neil

Damn your eyes - you can really go off some people

It will only be too loose if you go on a starvation diet for a month or so - maybe three months nill by mouth.

I used the red plaid last year I have you know.

And the F&I events clash with other stuff this year - with the exception of Quebec house - which I need to talk to you about as well..!!

Allas most are not mine - I just have my doglock and fusil.
(carbines don't count)

But on that note, I do have them to use - on loan from Mike I have his Bess and Spanish m1728, and I have Mr Le Grips bess as well.

And more importanatly they all have bayonets as well.

Andy's kit'll fit me nicely though- just would use it less than he does, and it's a scary realisation that I can't think of any soft kit I want at the moment!

I have cloth for a banyan but have several contenders already wanting to make me one.

Well I do.

So if you decide you want epaulettes, and then you don't, can I have them?

(Newsflash...moustache has now gone...last seen, it has 'set up' by itself in a large thicket somewhere near Portsmouth)

could be worse...

the stain below my knee in the picture bellow is crusty blood.
It was runing out the bottom of my overalls and over my boots - quite gross really.
