There's been moves to get ECWS interested in this.....really can't get into the "quick kit for one event" school.......if it's worth doing,it's worth getting it right............

Orkneys were at RGM? :shock:

Also, bear in mind that the War of the Doodah Succession went on well after 1708, so it's not like these will be the last anniversary events...

Nope....t'wasn't Orkneys at RGM but Big Declan and meself from RaT (LW) and the 1st Foot Guards (1685) standing in for 'em. I think we looked quite dapper.

Andy's right. Orkeneys cancelled the week before so us fine and upstanding people from RaT organised a soldier through the ages.
Ant and Big Dec, Paul N in my medieval kit, and a couple of Poulteny's.
