School Trip in Caerphilly

Post by gino »

My sister is a primary school teacher in a school in Caerphilly and her yeargroup are studying The Stuarts in the next academic year. Are there any reenactment groups from that period that are based in the south wales area that would be willing to go to the school for a day to do a workshop with the children so that they can experience life in the Stuart Period.
Because it is a school it will have to be a weekday which I know will probably mean most of you won't be able to do it due to work commitments.

Thanks,

Gino.

I'm sure a regiment from the Sealed Kot could help.

There is a muster in DINEFWR PARK on 4-5 Aug. The
regiment hosting the event is Charles Gerard’s Regiment of Foote.

If you can get along, ask them, I'll forward your post onto our event organiser as well. Can you pm me your, or your sisters contact details?

John Brights Regiment of Foote

contact bright's of ecws

even if they can't help, they can put you in touch with a regt of ecws who will be able to.

you're more likely to get joy doing it at a regimental level than by contacting the society as a whole.
