Tudor period eye glasses
Can someone please advise where I can buy period eye glasses please? Also. I don't want to pay the Earth for them. Thanks so much.

Two that spring most readily to mind are:
Kay Rouse and her husband do leather framed ones:

and are okay for late 15th through 16th century. The tying on at the side thing isn't authentic.
Period Glasses are pretty good and authentic:

There are other sources of accurate horn or wood rivet spectacles, some foreign, many a bit expensive, I've seen over £100 for bone frames for instance.
