weird, I thought they always did that at Licoln, Im sure its always one way, s'almost impossible to go against the flow of people lol, s'why I like the Bishops Palace, far more sedate 'n' lovely !!

also, if your after aufentic grub we sell jerky we make following the recipe used on the Lewis and Clark expedition of 1804 to map the Louisiana Purchase, and a very nice Chippewa Pemmican as well :)

I know there are quite a few traders we wont see trading on the circuit again unfortunately, they have simply gone out of business, the same is happening in the festival markets and food shows we do, in fact, if we hadn't had 2 consecutive very good shows we would be out of business now, having lost...

Looking for a second hand tent

We're looking to buy a new ( second hand tent ) due to the orrible weather my trading tent now looks bloody horrible, mildew and mold and as we sell edibles its not a good look, does anyone know of anyone selling a second hand, clean tent ? :)

Not to do with Ireland, but I have noticed an increase in internet orders that haven't been paid for via Paypal, Im wondering if its just people trying it on and hoping the order will get dispatched, 11 in the last 2 weeks

we are going to apply for Glastonbury as well, Suzie do one I do the other, we wanted to do it together but our confidence is dropping a little but as we've booked I dont want to not do it as it still may be OK :wink:

I emailed them 2 weeks ago with concerns about advertising, explaining the concerns of other traders and was told there would be plenty well in advance, maybe if all traders who are going email them and ask to know what is being done to promote it and share our concerns it may help, otherwis...

cool, will have a look in a mo, Ive had a thought, if all the traders got all their facebook chums to share the poster for the armouries, literally ask every reenactor on FB to share with their chums etc that would generate a lot of advertising I'd have thought

we could do 3 and all the stock / tables etc v/easily but not 4, unless we used the Nissan and a trailer, that would be simple enough :)

Sal are you and gruff both going or is it just one of you ? we could share transport maybe, take one van cos we dont need tents etc that way we would save 50% travel costs etc, just a thought :)

brill book, Ive yet to read a CC Humphreys book I didnt like, there are also a couple of mentions of Vlad in this book that relate to his other book at Vlad the Impaler which is another very very good read :)
