Nice set of images and article on Ist Battle of St Albans in Skirmish Magazine. This was staged at Avoncroft last year - a number of groups/individuals featured in the article not just Beauforts

2nd Battle of St Albans will be staged at Avoncroft this year (and we win this one :rock:)

from what I have researched, then painted, blackened, enamelled or gilded armour is possible but teh majority would be "white armour" whether polished or plain

Ask the questions - does this popularise your period, can you then tell people what is right and what isn't?

If yes to both then he's doing a good job - it is Sharpe in hose
