Great photos - thanks to both of you to sharing...

Peacezone, the photos loaded up fine.

Severin, Peacezone warned us about the large file sizes. There might be better ways of doing it but I for one am very grateful to her for being kind enough to share her photos.

LIFE IN THE 1500'S Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the...

Cheers folks...they are for combat.

Thanks for the ideas.

Hobnails...not sure if I should do that to the church floor :? :)

I'll try the school run first (everyone up there thinks I'm a bit bizarre anyway!) and the scoring and knotting afterwards if thats not enough :)

Slippy soles

Hi,

I have some lovely new boots but the soles are leather and they are very slippery...is there anything I can do to make them less so...is it just a case of doing the school run in them, etc
:)

Thanks for any suggestions

Hiya, I have a few questions. Can someone help me? When is it this year? What the best day for re-enactmenty stuff or is it the same every day? Also, what is the site like for getting someone who may be a bit infirm around...i.e. is it all grassy fields, is the site hilly, etc. Cheers folks Caroline
