i give mine a good going over with a decent leather feed before putting away at the end of the season, then after use each time clean with saddle soap, dry & then give a fresh feed coat before putting away. they were a pair of Ana's budget ones way back in 2003 & still look almost like new, just the...

on VERY cold days my little ones (1,3 & 5yo) wear all in ones under their kit as a base layer & then have a thick wool top layer, i have never managed to get them to keep a cloak on unless sitting still (even then its not easy) but they have very rarely moaned that they are cold, feet are the worst ...

ive had a bloke complain that our group should have better mannered children, this was after my 2yo had smacked his big doberman across the snout for going to steal her chunk of ham sandwich :roll: its lucky he only got the wrath of me for letting said dog lunge at a toddler & not our "little" white...
