At the base! wow... ive seen a hand n half break at the middle, but the base would of been the last place id of thought of.

ha well since i heard nowt good about Hanwei, sod it i aint gonna buy one as i was told shouldnt encourage bad armourers, so be it :) oh and yeh hobnailed boots ive seen em, i'll try what you say then.... Got ya :) cheers for that guys, im going to try and get someone in my group to show me how to sew and i WILL watch out for crap fabric, but yeh i'll build everything up, bit by bit :) oh and as for the sword im leaving the hand and a half for a single hander so there less of teh whole flimseyness go...

Oh no I dint buy my shirt off of Dave, i was talkin to him at an event we did and thats what he told me.. fact is thats all i can really do with a pair of split hoes, braes and a shirt is where my shirt out, as you know if i walked around with me shirt tooked into me braes id look like a right pleb ...

Oh and im part of the Howards... unfortunatley dont know our next event, for some reason the group is leaning more towards FULL living history type of thing... maybe the occasional battle but there wanting to do more and more at Murton Park Viking Village... not to keen on it all myself.. its great ...

oh i see so get well tailored hoes :D same type of bad happenings happened to my old shabby pair...they went baggy, i bought an already used pair off another member in my group... and well classic (completley uneducated re-enactor mistake) i put me hoes in the wash and then I TUMBLE DRIED them ¬¬!! ...

Yeah i do need a doublet, was given one by my group but the thing is to big for me, also im thinking of getting a smaller padded jack, probable also a better idea, i bought it off this lass in my group that it was far far to big for, thought it wernt to bad at £60. :) I recon tho next seaon im gonna...
